Will Writing

A Will is is a very important document. We can advise you without the jargon and prepare it for you.

Depending on your circumstances it may be necessary to include a trust in your Will to protect your assets from unforeseen events such as remarriage, divorce or long term care fees. During our free home visit we can discuss your circumstances and determine which type of Will will ensure that your wishes are carried out.

Lasting Power of Attorney

If you can't manage your own financial affairs due to incapacity (eg a stroke or dementia) long-term or short term you need to appoint a trusted person(s) to manage your affairs for you. Loved ones can't help you without an LPA in place. 

There are two types of LPA: Financial decisions (personal and business) and health care decisions. 

Both are equally as important and we can advise you on the process of registration. All LPAs must be registered before they are used. We will advise you on the registration process and once all relevant persons have signed the form(s) we will submit them to the Office of the Public Guardian for registration.

LPA Financial Decisions

We can advise, prepare and register a LPA for financial decisions. This type of LPA would allow your attorneys to deal with your bank accounts, bills, investments, property and pensions. Estate Administration

Their role is to locate all assets, pay tax and debts and distribute any remaining money and property in accordance with the Will.
